I haven't touched a pokemon game since Ruby and Sapphire came out. I played it for a few weeks...then stopped with pokemon all together because it was changing too much, and not getting better. The pokemon in RS really dissapointed me. My favorite games to date are Gold and Silver, because they had all good pokemon in them, and the biggest world to explore. Hopefully FR/LG will come close to them. I've played the game in japanese and it seems pretty cool.

Yes, hopefully, FR/LG will live up to my expectations, since I really wanted to be able to get back to Kanto and Johto eventually...hopefully it'll be a good game.

That's always a plus. I love the Legendary Birds! But, Lugia is still a bit of a wild card in how to get it...

Lugia and Ho-oh I don't know if you can get normally in the game, I think you need to go to a nintendo event, do the wireless mystery gift function and you'll recieve a ticket in your game or something, this ticket will enable an island in your game. One ticket leads to an island with Deoxys, the other leads to an island with Ho-oh and/or Lugia I think.
Kinda weird, might be wrong though. I know the three originals are there though.

It also says that the Legendary Dogs are attainable as well. ^-^

Are you sure about this? What is "it"?
I'm pretty sure that they aren't in the game...well...I own it. Even though I'm not that far, I've read a lot about it, and seen screenshots of all the legendaries, and their locations. The dogs were on the list of unobtainable pokemon.

no u can get them but it works like this bulbasaur>entei squirtle>raikou charmander>suicune
so u can only get 1 in your game.

Fire Emblem is correct. I DID hear the info from Pyspoke [which is mysteriously down now]. And that was what I heard.

Get the tea from the lady on the 1st floor of the Celadon Mansion, and give it to one of the guards. He'll do the same thing he does in the other games, but you need tea, not water, to get into Saffaron.
