what really annoys me is the way people fight about the way they look, goths get beaten up cause there not like most people. and townies think there the best so the pick a fight and cuss people who are not like them. people get into so many fights like this. Religion annoys me cause everyones bickering, religions thinking there perfect like Monotheistic religions eg Islam, christianity and Judaism, when the musilms are the best then thez suicide bomb place to get a point across. Christains say that they are gods people and then thay go of and start an inquisition or a crusade. And Jews say Isreal is there's when muslims haved lives there, can't they just share. The holocaust happened cause some nutter thought that jews ,gypsies shouldn't live. and u get into fights in sport saying that person comes from that country which souln't exist so we won't fight them. can't we all just live in peace.

*sigh* I know how you feel. This stuff pisses me off too. Religion is just so stupid IMO. It's not that I have a problem with people believing in something, it's when they think they're ALWAYS right because of it, and are so arrogant about it and such. And when they try and get you to convert....just pisses me off >_> The whole thing about the cliques, well, you're somewhat true. Goths/punks/etc, they stand up for eachother, just like all the other do. Most goths/punks/me don't go after people, unlike a lot of jocks will do. And they'll gang up on them too. So what, someone dresses different? What the fuck people? Who cares? I don't care what clique my friends fall under, I don't care if I'm seen with a certain person, a friends a friend, end of story. I don't base it off what they look like, just how they act. It pisses me off when someone won't talk to a certain person just because they're different. How dumb can we get? How can they think they're better? And racism, pisses me off too. Basicly the same reasons, they look different, they worship a different god, who fucking cares? Is it a crime to have darker skin? Well, with the damn patriot acts, it sure as hell seems like it now. Well, I gotta go, or else I'd go on more. Sorry about all the swearing.

I don't get involved in any sort of "clique" at school, or around the town. The majority if not all of my friends I only know via the internet and a screenname. The reason I don't associate myself with groups of people is because when you do that you label yourself, and when people are labeled they're easier to hate, because you can group them together. I dress how I like, go where I like, do what I like, and if anyone has a problem with it they can tell me so, then move on. Because honestly fighting me isn't worth it, if you beat me, you won't get pleasure from it, if you lose, you'll get no pleasure out of it.
About religion, I know several people who are VERY religious and I personally can't stand it. For example, people that consider themselves to be VERY strong Christians, follow EVERY SINGLE WORD of the bible. They say it has no contradictions and that it's never wrong. Well I could friggin' say that when you die a large pink teddy bear at the farthest edge of the universe asks you for one wish, and when you ask him for that wish your soul will burn for the rest of eternity. Can you prove that wrong? Does it contradict itself? Hell no, but that certainly doesn't make it right.
I don't read the bible, because I don't think I NEED to believe the bible to live a good life. Who the hell cares about how some peasant walked down a dirt road and spoke with another peasant several thousand years ago? Nobody. Any lesson the bible can teach you is a lesson I've learned from personal experience, and people get so BLINDED by the bible, or ANY religion for that matter they fight to the death for it.
Religion to me is idiocy in its finest form. I believe in morals, possibilities, and ideas. Not a religion. Why? Because I don't believe anyone CAN know what's the "right" belief. So I just say f**k it all, I'll believe what I want to believe. And if I screw up doing what I think is right and get damned to hell for it, then that "God" isn't a God I'd want to spend eternity with anyway.
Religion is pointless, cliques exist for the soul purpose so that people can "fit in" somewhere.
In fact lets use gays as an example, SO many people are announcing that they're gay nowadays. Some say because it's more accepted nowadays, some say you're born that way. I don't give a sh*t what anyone has to say about gays, because I know one thing for sure.
A LARGE, LARGE portion of gays, announce that they're gay for the single purpose that they can be in a "group" of some sort, so that they have people who they're "like" if they ever get insulted, to back them up. They say they're gay to fit in with someone, and they take part in gay activities because it's part of the package of acceptance. They don't do it because they're REALLY sexually attracted to the same sex, I'm sure of that.
Another thing that REALLY, REALLY pisses me off, is when a certain group of people gets mad at you for saying something that isn't really offensive. I have a "black" girl in my ILA class, and on one assignment we were supposed to go get involved in some minority activity, like go to an "african american church" as listed as one of the examples. The girl was outraged, and since I was leading it out aloud she exploded on me, and said that I didn't have the right to call "them" african american. I said we were supposed to go to a minority activity, and even though I don't like it blacks are a minority. And in this RARE occasion, it was NECESSARY to come up with some name to distinguish african americans from the rest of america, so they called them African-Americans. Fair enough right? No big deal. Well this girl was so hyped up about being the same, she insulted me in several different ways, and called me a racist. To this, I exploded and simply said.
"I don't give a sh*t what race you are, what religion you are if you even have one, how fat you are, what you look like, or even if you're straight or gay, it doesn't make a bit of difference to me. If you're a d*ck you're a d*ck, and if you're not you're not."
After this I told her she could call me "european american" if it made her feel any better, or "white", because who the hell cares?
People are so stupid, arguing MUST be in human blood, I don't see why else so much stupid sh*t would be happening.
(I too, apologize for the swearing.)

My familys a lot like that.I mean like they think just cause they think its right that its the right and ONLY way.
We were eating strawberry shortcake and they said anyone who doesn't eat it with milk on top is retarded. They also said if you use a fork to eat it that you are also reatrded. There I am with a fork in hand and no milk on my cake.
Two things wrong with their theory. One, you can't say just cause you, or a larger majority of people do something one way that its right. Two, the word "retarded" should not be used in the context they were used it in.If they wanted to say stupid they should have said stupid.
Same with religion.I myself believe there is a God.But Ialso believe that no one person can speak for God.You can't tell us what you think God says is right or wrong. How would you feel if someone told everyone what you think is right and wrong?Even if you follow the bible, you have to known not everything in their is literal. And its been translated a million times.Who knows what some idiot might have done to it.Like when it says God created the universe in seven days(six if you gotta get technical) if you look up the word "days" in hebrew it can mean anywhere froma day to millions of years(or many mnay years i forget) so how would we know if it mean an actual day or millions of years?Thats why when you believe in something you have to be open minded that parts of it that youthink are right might be different or whatever.I'm a christian, but i believe in evoloution as well. Most don't.How do we know evoloution isnt how God made everything? What's scary is we really don't know is we even know anything.and I think some people are just so afraid of being wrong they go psycho.(my family is a good example) Its ok to spread the word about what you believe in and wanting to help but you shouldnt force it on anyone.Imagine you were God(or anyone for that matter) and you had someone trying to force someone to love you.Um....how does that not seem right? If i had to send someone to force someone else to like me I'd be feeling pretty bad.Its bad enough when someone you like doesnt liek you but to stoop as low as to force them?Or towatch someone try to force themo.o Its hard of course when this someone is someone you love.In this case a religious person might be desperate to make this person believe cause they dont want them to suffer when they die.
Groups and stuff were most liekly created to include and exclude people. Then the others who didnt fit in made their own groups and so on.......and now we're like a world divided many times over. Prejudice against any group(whatever type it may be) is obviosuly wrong. We shouldnt be defined by what we wear or look like as much as by what we do and say.I dont paticuarly belong to any sorta group.I kinda dress in comfortable loose fitting clothing.I dont wear anything pink or anything girly or flowery or frilly.None of that "preppy" stuff.Mostly black, green, red. plaid, anything with flames pokemon or gir.Lots of hats bandanda, my zim wrist things, boots or sneakers, lots of zim buttons, just anything i find lying around.(I usually look like i jumped through a closest and went to a button factory which exploded.) basically i dress pretty weird compared to what most people define normal as.I also act weird, though its not like i try to be weird.I just like different things than others and think differently. Because of this some people find me interesting, odd,or just plain freaky.Depending on the people i get treated good or bad for the way i am.But who doesnt? To me though it doesnt matter what "type" a person is, i have all kinds of friends. The only kind of person i can't stand are people who treat others horribly, guys and girls alike with egos so large they think only of themselves and treat theirs girlfriends/boyfriends like dirt, and hunters.*loves animals*
Its human nature to seek the familiar. But it seems its also human nature to fear those who are "too" different.Humans tend to fear what they aren't familiar with because they dont know what to expect.Or in modern day cases, believe that stereotypes are true about a type of person(and stereotypes rarely seem to include too many good attributes).Like....goths are suicidal.Um........huh?My sister is sorta gothic or dresses like one and she is anything but suicidal. But really we're pretty much the same. For the most part.We all eat and breatha and sleep. We get cold and we feel pain. Most of us want to feel wanted or loved to some degree or wish to love someone else.We all like to have our own fun and face it, hardly any of us can take just one chip from the chip bag.(unless you're me or are allergic to chips)

Firegod, most of what you just said is what I think. Before, I never had a problem with religious people, unless they tried to convert me to their religion >_> (happened a few times) Now, it's just stupid. Things like the gay marrage ban are because of religion. Do you people remember the seperation of church and state? Enough said. That shouldn't even be a topic. Same with abortion. Though some argue it is murder and such, a lot of people(at least to my knowledge) base their opinion on that because of their religion. Therefore, it's wrong to them. Personally, I am pro choice, I don't like it, I don't hate it, it doesn't really matter to me. Those are two big reasons why Bush was relected. >_> Relgious matters. He played the religion card, he won. Things like gay marrage and abortion, he said he was against, attracted many, many people to vote for him. Well, since class is almost over, I have one thing to say to all religous fanatics out there. TRY THINKING FOR YOURSELVES! You can still have morals and such without having to believe in a book. Try thinking for yourself for once, not what a book says, not what your parents say, base it off what you think. Well, class is over. Maybe I'll add to this at home.

this is just irony cause i was studing creation from a jewish point of few and u know it actually it agrees with the scientific point of few, that 7 days doesnt mean 24hrs as most people beleive it means 7 periods of time, which makes sense to fit evo and the dinosaurs in. and that evo follows the same way fish-land-humans so its possible to beleive both unlike what catholics say. Gay people whats wrong with that religions shouldnt control love should it ? and i agree with pop tart Bush a won a major part cuase of his religious vote (what ive seen so far alot of people in america a devout catholics) But the BIGGEST problem i have is that catholics see things on the surface never deeper, look at the bible it was written at a point where loads of plp were being killed they started to beleive in something better aka cristianity. When cristians say "we should be living are lives for god" it actually annoys me cause god let plp have free will so we should to whatever we want.

It's pretty weird that on this entire set of forums this thread is the only one currently active. Must be interesting for people to keep posting in it.
Here's how I live my life:
I don't have a set religion, I was born and raised catholic, both of my parents went to catholic schools as children, my mother especially is a strong catholic. However, even though I'm baptised in the catholic faith, I won't call myself a true catholic. I think people should toss aside any "religion" and believe in 2 things, morals and ideas. I believe in certain morals and ideas and it's these 2 things that I live my life on. And the majority of them agree with the bible, and I've never even thoroughly read it. I believe in a God, I believe in Jesus Christ---the end. The rest is morals and ideas I've developed and thought up whilst living out my life.
-The more detailed things get the worse off they are. Powerful simpler rules are better than a huge list of detailed rules and theories. The larger and more complicated things get the harder they are to control.
-I keep quiet most everywhere. The only time I'll speak up is in some place where I know I'm well respected. School---keep quiet, do my work. Home---go in my room, speak to people via this computer. Internet---Voice opinions only in places where I have power. Otherwise---it's not my problem, I don't need the stress.
-I don't care if you're gay, I myself am straight but if you're a good person and you're gay, hey I'm fine with that you're same as everyone else.
-I don't care what race you are, if you're a good person I'll gladly welcome you.
I am, to be completely honest with all of you, a very, very selfish person. In an odd sense though. Every single thing I do is for myself. If I help someone it's because I will feel better about myself in doing so. I do my work because it will benefit ME, I help people and give out advice because it gets ME respect, and having other people in a good mood makes ME in a good mood. My selfishness revolves around me coming last, because that's when I feel best.
Alright, that's all the time I have tonight, I've got a bit of homework to complete. 'Till next time-
Goodbye.

What is wrong with the world ? We hear some much bad things on the media that we think thats all there in the world, we never look at the bright side of life, that generosity runs through human veins, we never focuse at whats good at the human race, we're all humans whether female male, black white, goth or chav. We're all humans, but we focuse on difference. As meowth said "maybe if we focused on whats the same instead of always looking at whats different, well who knows" History has happened, and we never look at it, and correct our life, just letting history, repeat itself.

The world is a great big bunch of jackasses.
I suggest we all get used to that bit of truth.
